The 11th China International Oil and Gas Trade Conference (CIOGTC) was held in Shanghai from November 8 to 9. It was?sponsored?by the Ministry of Commerce, the National Energy Administration, and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and hosted by the Foreign Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce.?This year,?CIOGTC continues the combination of online and offline approaches, with the theme of “deepening international trade and cooperation in oil and gas, promoting high-quality economic and social development.”?Nearly 500 representatives from globally renowned oil companies, trade and shipping enterprises, financial and information institutions, and academic research institutions from 14 countries and regions attended the conference. The conference offered an opportunity to explore?ideas and directions for international trade and cooperation in oil and gas in the context of the global epidemic. Vice Minister of Commerce Sheng Qiuping and Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai Municipal Government Gu Honghui attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Zhong Ren, Vice President?and member of the Leading Party Group?of Sinochem?Holdings, Chairman, General Manager, and Party Secretary of Sinochem Energy,?also?delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.
